You learn much more about a retailer when things don't go according to plan. The help I had in choosing components for my home cinema system was excellent. Often when you have a good price on what you want and a company cannot match it they try and sell you something else. AV wow accepted that on one item (KEF speakers) I had the best price and it was the best option for the job. The advice on the screen was excellent. I got an amazing price on a much better screen than I was expecting. All the kit arrived in good time.
One piece of Kit was faulty on arrival. AV wow worked very hard to sort the problem and I had a replacement within days. In retail things are bound to go wrong at some point. I would recommend AV wow because they won't sell you stuff you don't want or need and when a supplier messes up they sort it without the usual blame culture heartache.
My wife has severe hearing loss and often struggles with the dialogue on American films. We used to get round this by wiring her hearing aids directly into the AV amp (she felt like something out of the Matrix!). With the KEFs and the Onkyo the quality is so good she requires no extra bits and hears everything.

Having recently contacted your company to purchase an Infocus Projector, I am just writing to say how impressed I was with your level of service.
Its so nice to be phoned back and be able to discuss technical issues at length without the usual 0870 or even 09xx charges.

Ordered an Optoma HD-80 following discussion with David, a gentleman that has genuine knowledge about the products he is selling.Arrived on the due date and after a little hair tearing over installation, settled for a ceiling mount as originally suggested by David. Fantastic projector, brilliant price, good advice. What more do you want ??

hi, just to say that I am thrilled with the projector..... It was tested against my mates Sony VLP-VW50 and it blew it away. Better brightness, colour and of course blacks.. My mate is going to try and sell his Sony but only wants to pay £2500 for a Jvc. I have told him that he wont get it for this price for a long time even though the new jvc is out.....

Having had a long conversation with a very well informed person (David??) shortly before Christmas, I bought the Themescene HD 73 from your company. I had previously made my mind up to buy the Infocus IN76 and had compared it with other projectors on your website to find the spec. for the Themescene was better.
After talking with your chap, I was convinced into getting the Themescene and, whilst I am not in a position to directly compare it with the Infocus, I have to say it is fantastic! Thanks very much for the advice and a great price on the product.
