Trikan is high-performance compact centre-channel loudspeaker designed for use as part of a multi-channel music and movie system.
A quality centre-channel loudspeaker is an important part of any home-theatre system. Its role is to accurately communicate the dialogue and centre-screen action in a movie and in many cases it also handles a significant element of the soundtrack and effects. Almost all movies will involve action and sound moving from one side of the screen to the other so it is important that your loudspeakers are tonally balanced for a consistent sound.
In common with Linn Katan loudspeakers, the Trikan centre-channel loudspeaker offers exceptional sound quality. The high-frequency driver with its neodymium magnet provides a clean and open sound and the high-density cabinet construction with two advanced bass/midrange drive units have been designed to eliminate distortion.
The Trikan loudspeaker can be positioned above or below the screen or even wall-mounted using the Linn Brakit for greater flexibility in multi-channel systems. All drive units are magnetically shielded meaning it can also be placed close to a television without causing picture interference.
Two removable, reversible-link connection boards on the rear of the Trikan provide a range of crossover configurations for improving performance from single-wiring to multi-amping to fully Aktiv operation. These connection boards automatically identify and configure the appropriate input links for passive or Aktiv playback. To experience your Linn loudspeakers at their best, upgrade to fully Aktiv configuration by adding additional Linn power amplifiers with internal Aktiv cross-over cards.
The Trikan centre-channel loudspeaker works perfectly alongside Linn Katan and Sizmik loudspeakers forming an attractive and accurate 5.1 loudspeaker systems. Partner this loudspeaker system with a Linn Unidisk SC multi-format player/processor and Linn Chakra C5100 power amplifier for a totally involving music and movie experience.
The Trikan loudspeaker is available in a range of high-quality real wood veneer finishes. Our standard finish options are Black Ash, White, American Cherry and Maple and we also offer a custom service for those who want a truly bespoke finish.
