The Linn Katan loudspeaker is a simple and compact, two-way loudspeaker designed for stereo music or multi-channel music and movie systems.
Katan loudspeakers can be mounted on a bookshelf, wall-mounted or stand mounted using the dedicated Katan Loudspeaker Stand.
Katan features a high quality dome treble-unit with advanced neodymium magnet technology for a clean open sound. High specification cross-over components and quality internal cabling help ensure music reproduction is as accurate as possible for the most involving music experience.
A rigid, high-density cabinet construction helps maximise audio quality and powerful, magnetically shielded drive-units mean that it can be placed close to a television without causing picture interference.

For multi-channel systems the Katan has been designed as the perfect partner for Trikan centre channel and Sizmik bass reinforcement loudspeakers, for seamless, precise performance.
Two removable, reversible-link connection boards on the rear of the Katan loudspeaker provide a range of crossover configurations for improving performance from single-wiring to multi-amping to fully Aktiv operation. These connection boards automatically identify and configure the appropriate input links for passive or Aktiv playback. To experience your Linn loudspeakers at their best, upgrade to fully Aktiv configuration by adding additional Linn power amplifiers with internal Aktiv cross-over cards.
Katan loudspeakers are available in a range of high-quality real wood veneer finishes. Our standard finish options are Black Ash, White, American Cherry and Maple and we also offer a custom service for those who want a truly bespoke finish.
